Crazy Idaho

I'm leaving for Denver tomorrow (see post below) but I forgot to mention that I'm going to see a migraine specialist in Boulder on Monday. Keep your fingers crossed that some solution can be found for preventing my migraines.

As usual, pictures...

A slight and temporary blizzard, 1st one of the season!

The "Greeting Committee" when I opened the gate to go to work.

Old Salty wouldn't move from in front of my car!

We got a scooter, just in time for winter. It gets 75 mpg so we'll try to ride it until a) it's too cold b) it's too snowy c) a combination of a&b

VeloSwap in Denver, updates and random pictures

Me at a Festival of Trees meeting for the Teton Valley Hospital Foundation. What a dress! I was trying to scare everyone into finishing the meeting as fast as possible.

I'm going to be at VeloSwap in Denver promoting the Kokopelli bike tour with Gemini Adventures. If you're at the National Western Complex in Denver on Saturday, October 25 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, stop by the Gemini Adventures booth and see me!

Saturday was a crappy day for me. I felt absolutely awful for no particular reason. I even napped which is quite out of character for me. I took and extra 15 mg of hydrocortisone and took it easy. I couldn't think or move too well so I sat in a chair, drooled on myself and watched TV. I woke up Sunday and today feeling absolutely normal. Go figure! It makes no sense. Sometimes Addison's stinks.

I've committed to doing Rocky Raccoon in Huntsville, Texas on February 8th, 2009. I'm not sure if I'll try doing the hundred miler or if I will stick to the 50. The way my run training is currently going, it appears I'm training for a 10K. I'm going to meet Lora from Chicago down there and we're going to have fun despite all the pain we'll feel from running.

Enjoy the random photos.

This is how packages are delivered in our neck of the woods, they are rubberbanded on to the mailbox.

Yep, there's always snow where ever I go.
