Mid October update

That's right folks! 15 degrees Fahrenheit on October 10th, 2008. We've got a winter storm watch in effect for tonight. Come visit!!

My strange breakdown last week was probably a hormonal issue. It was over on Sunday night. I need to get some hormones tested.

It's been a ridiculously busy week, I keep thinking it will slow down and it doesn't. Slowly but surely I'm getting caught up on one thing at a time.

I've gone to the gym four days this week so my weight lifting is right on track. The running, not so much. I think when the soreness from the lifting subsides, I will be more consistent about running.

If you've got any suggestions for good, fun ultrarunning races in warm places between November and May, email me and let me know. contact@addisonssupport.com I've got to get out of here and go somewhere warm.

Below are pictures from the week...

Here's the first block from Shelley's quilt that she's making for NORD. See anything you've donated? Haven't donated yet??? You still can, click the link above for more information.

Milissa creating the budget for the See N Save thrift store. This fiscal year the See N Save will have its best year ever. All profits benefit Teton Valley Health Care, our local hospital. I help Milissa with the budget for the store.

The mountain to the left is Fred's. If you ran the Grand Teton Races, that's the highest point of the race. If you ski, that's where the lift drops you off.

The appropriately named Aspen Trail.

I was bizarrely captivated by this grove of evergreens that had aspen leaves lodged into them. Below is a close up. I don't know why I thought this was so interesting.

OK, so, I run by myself a lot AND I'm a freak. This summer (now fall) I got tired of all of the posed pictures I took of myself so I started taking pictures of myself jumping. I think this is the very best of my jumping pictures. I've taken pictures at this trail head everytime I've been there during 2008. Expect a slide show at the end of 2008.
