The road and the Pallisades in the background.
The top of the Pass, I went a couple of miles up and a couple down the other side. Rinse, lather and repeat.
Hey! This road is steep.
The rock on the left was loose and crumbling before my eyes. I was a little nervous passing it. Although the pieces were the size of a tennis ball and smaller, I wouldn't want to get beaned in the head by any rocks.
It's views like this that make running in the winter, in the slush and cold, on the side of a busy road, worth it.
And you say you envy my runs! Yours put mine to shame when it comes to the scenary. I will get around to posting photos from my holiday runs in the next day or two though. My lap top has died and I'm relying on hubby's.
ReplyDeletePip, I'd trade you in a heartbeat! I prefer water (in liquid form), warmth, and green. I wish I didn't have to wear shoes, ever! I'm stuck in ice and snow here from October through most of June. ICK!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward your holiday run pictures! Go marathon girl, go!
When I used to run---no where but flat parks in Indiana. Awesome what you enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading Diane! :)
