Blog lists

I've rearranged my blog lists in the right hand column below the tags. I've found several cyberfriends with Addison's blogs and I've grouped them together. Although our blogs are very different with different focuses, we all have two things in common, Addison's and a great attitude! I encourage you to check out these great blogs (listed in no particular order) written by people with Addison's disease.   Please check out these awesome blogs!  They are all full of inspiration.

Lessons from Addison - a gal from South Africa with a holistic approach to Addison's

Never a Dull Moment - a US woman who takes amazing pictures

Annie Sullivan - a US mother documenting the ins and outs of having a small child with Addison's

When the music's over, turn out the lights! - a very talented musican and song writer (among other things) with Addison's who's from New Jersey

Running Buddha - an ultrarunning Addisonian guy from the US

Addisonian's of Nebraska - a young male who's an integral part of a Nebraska Addison's group

CaringBridge.org - krystal - a young woman who struggles with Addison's and other comorbid conditions

Pip's Squeaks - an inspirational female athlete from New Zealand

  2. If you were from New Jersey Meg, she might have called you a "goil". Actually, since Dusty grew up near Frank Sinatra's home town, "gal" is perfectly legit. ;>)

  3. Michael and Meg,

I'm so happy to promote everyone else's blog because people with Addison's have to see that Addison's is not a death sentence. We CAN and DO do things! You two are perfect examples.

  4. hehe, it's not often you hear the word "gal" around here. It's such a nice sounding word too!

Anyway, you're totally right about that! I'm so tired out people thinking of me as "sick". Honestly, very few people know that I have Addison's simple because I know this will change the way they view me. But, at the same time, I'm full of beans and living large ;)

Glad to have stumbled onto your blogs and found some new friends :)
