Everyone is amazingly, incredibly nice! I was given water by 2 people, as I passed through neighborhoods people asked me questions and said, "Good luck!"
Day 2 start time: 3:30 am
Time now 8:30 am
In McKenzie taking shelter from the rain and putting my feet up. I pepper sprayed 2 dogs and then touched my inner arm to the nozzle. Owwwwiw. Got stopped by a cop because someone told him a "young girl" was walking down the road at 4 am! I ain't young! My arm is on fire. I'm feeling pretty good. Onward to Huntingdon, TN before noon!
13 hours of running - WOW. Day 2 and you look like a young girl, WOW! Good luck today! -MollyMc
ReplyDeleteNice job Dusty! We're still getting donations of support for your run. You are an inspiration. Due to your dedication, we'll be able to make a great showing in Denver and give lots of information to the EMS Personnel.
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! I think what you''re doing is amazing! Stay strong and best of luck to you.

ReplyDeletePip, I prefer to be invisible and hate running with a light. I only use the light when I have to. :) D
DeleteTerry, I wish you were here suffering too! This is my one and only VS!
What an adventure this is! Thanks to you all for sharing it with me and supporting me.
