Blog changes

Thanks to everyone who followed Training Because I Can! over the last nine years. This blog started with Addison's Disease, hypothyroidism and a crazy idea of doing an Ironman distance triathlon. My life has changed and so has this blog. I am using this blog strictly for Addison's Support topics from here on out. I hope to continue providing people with hints for living life well with adrenal insufficiency.

Look what I got!

This is my award from the 50 mile race. Isn't it beautiful? Thanks Lisa, Jay and Zach for giving out such a nice award and thanks Elisa Davis for making it so beautiful (she's the artist).

I'm trying to get back into the swing of things...really!

Dazed and confused at Teton Middle School Track. It's 7 am and 35 degrees. Why am I outside?

Allison, who claims that she's not photogenic, looks cute at usual despite the early hour and invigorating temperature.

Allison and I had a nice track workout and started our weight lifting season on Tuesday. Now my leg/foot/ankle hurts. Wahhh. I'm guessing my body is telling me to S-L-O-W down and cross train! I'll do it. I'm going to cross train for a few days and get this little problem healed up.

The view to the east from the track as the sun is rising.

A balloon floats overhead in a perfect blue sky as we run. It gives me an excuse to stop, catch my breath and take a picture. If you look at the pictures of us above, the balloon is in the background.
