Blog changes
Thanks to everyone who followed Training Because I Can! over the last nine years. This blog started with Addison's Disease, hypothyroidism and a crazy idea of doing an Ironman distance triathlon. My life has changed and so has this blog. I am using this blog strictly for Addison's Support topics from here on out. I hope to continue providing people with hints for living life well with adrenal insufficiency.

Pill trays
If you've got to take a lot of meds or meds throughout the day, it can be a pain in the butt to get the pill bottles out throughout the day and take your meds. Because I am lazy, I fill up these suckers (purchased at the local pharmacy) once a month to avoid getting the pill bottles out all of the time. It also insures that I get all of my meds throughout the day. If I know I have something coming up where my med needs are different for that day, I write the date on the pill box in erasable marker and fill the boxes accordingly. I also like doing filling these trays because it gives me a head's up for refilling my scripts. If I empty a pill bottle when filling my tray, I have some wiggle room for getting the pills refilled. I try to be careful filling the trays so I know that all of the little white pills are the little white pills I am supposed to be taking!!
