"If you can't fly, then run.
If you can't run, then walk.
If you can't walk, then crawl.
But whatever you do, keep moving."
- Martin Luther King, Jr.
Despite feeling like crap from all the migraines, I've kept moving. Attempting to finish one project at a time and not doing things I didn't feel like I could or wanted to do (like returning emails in a timely fashion) and appreciating not being dirty and sweaty all the time. I think the cause of the migraines for me is getting so much activity for so long and then stopping abruptly (Ie after an event like the Desert RATS). I think my neurotransmitters get really screwed up.
I guess I've learned my lesson, no rest for the wicked unless she wants a migraine! More migraine discussion in a week or so, I will be talking to my doctor to ask about my migraine theories.
I've been running, walking, meandering and bike riding a little bit over the last few weeks when I've felt like it and appreciating the "warmer" temperatures, like 50 degrees, woooo. I'll post some pictures later.
What I've learned from the last month of feeling relatively crappy is, do what you can and let the rest go. People who care and worry about you will contact you and wonder where the hell you've been. Figure out how to accomplish things on your own terms. Sometimes accomplishing things means catching up on reality television ALL DAY LONG and asking your kid and husband to get things for you.
