Blog changes

Thanks to everyone who followed Training Because I Can! over the last nine years. This blog started with Addison's Disease, hypothyroidism and a crazy idea of doing an Ironman distance triathlon. My life has changed and so has this blog. I am using this blog strictly for Addison's Support topics from here on out. I hope to continue providing people with hints for living life well with adrenal insufficiency.

Wrestling a Chihuahua

This is Nicodemus. He's 9 weeks old and weighs 1 pound 8 ounces. I had the privilege of making him a sweater AND doggy sitting for him. Isn't he adorable?! It was quite the workout to wrestle with the little guy without smooshing him.

Paul and I went skate skiing on Saturday. Unfortunately, I got no skate skiing pictures but, typical of me, I took pictures of the signage! We're fortunate to have groomed trails in our area. Thank you Teton Valley Trails and Pathways!! Skate skiing is good cross training for running, especially if you can stay upright. I didn't fall down once even though I stink at skate skiing.

Hi Anthony!

Skate skiing is like cross country skiing but it's faster and the really good people wear lots of lycra! The skis are skinny and the poles are long. If you ever watch the biathlon stuff on the Olympics where the guys race around in the woods with rifles on their backs and shoot at targets, that's skate skiing.

I don't wear a gun and I attempt to stay upright. I'm not a good skate skiier!!

That dog is freaking little and adorable. I would probably step on it by accident if it were living in my house.
