Blog changes

Thanks to everyone who followed Training Because I Can! over the last nine years. This blog started with Addison's Disease, hypothyroidism and a crazy idea of doing an Ironman distance triathlon. My life has changed and so has this blog. I am using this blog strictly for Addison's Support topics from here on out. I hope to continue providing people with hints for living life well with adrenal insufficiency.

Ski season's here!

Look, the hippie kids have arrived in Teton Valley and are ready for the ski season to begin!

The view from about 8,000 feet of the valley below, you can see where the elevation decreases and the snow melts. Very, very soon the entire valley will be white. Like maybe tomorrow.

I can't get these pictures in order so this post is going to be all out of order. I tried to run the Mill Creek loop and besides all the snow. There were bear tracks everywhere. In addition I saw tracks of deer, fox, moose, elk, squirrels and bunnies.

Ski area base today.

Although resort gates were locked, resort was closed and lifts were not running, there were lots of rabid skiiers. Everyone I saw was about 60 years old. Many of the licence plates were from other states!

My run was a 3 hour walk for 8 miles. I was so slow and think I will be sore from it tomorrow.
