Blog changes

Thanks to everyone who followed Training Because I Can! over the last nine years. This blog started with Addison's Disease, hypothyroidism and a crazy idea of doing an Ironman distance triathlon. My life has changed and so has this blog. I am using this blog strictly for Addison's Support topics from here on out. I hope to continue providing people with hints for living life well with adrenal insufficiency.

Rainy days and migraines always get me down

Carpenter's Rainy Days and Mondays

We had 5 nice days last week and it's rained everyday since then. In addition, I've been getting migraines just often enough that I have one, recover and get another. It stinks.

Migraines stink. They make me nauseous, scared and afraid to leave the house for fear of getting another in public unable to get home. I've been doing very little running and biking.

The migraines make me feel introverted too. If you're wondering why I haven't emailed you, my attitude stinks and you probably don't want to hear from me! I'm hardcore cranky pants.

The snow is melting quickly and the trees are getting green. I'm looking forward to some warm summer days.

Hey cranky pants, sorry you are having stupid migraines. I wish I was there to make you laugh. I'll send you a picture of me hanging from the rafters. The boards made a horrible creaking noise when I jumped up. Dave caught my facial expression-- Hope you feel better soon. The snow will be gone soon and it will be warm soon. XOXOX!!!

Hi, friend. Are you sure your migraines aren't from allergies? The temperature extremes in CO give me fits--eighty one day; 40 the next. I really suffer from the heat. Lately, there has been little white fluffy things flying through the air. I just feel like I can't do any thing. I am hoping the hot weather that hit today will go over the Rockies to you! Hang in there!
