Blog changes

Thanks to everyone who followed Training Because I Can! over the last nine years. This blog started with Addison's Disease, hypothyroidism and a crazy idea of doing an Ironman distance triathlon. My life has changed and so has this blog. I am using this blog strictly for Addison's Support topics from here on out. I hope to continue providing people with hints for living life well with adrenal insufficiency.

Cross Training

Thursday was  a super busy day!  6 miles before 7 am, 2 trips to Driggs, fed the horses for the first time and hauled 15 bags of pellets for the pellet stove into the house at the Ranch.

I got a good workout on Thursday with the above workout!  I fed the horses because T was taking his son to SLC for a dr appointiment.  It was fun!  The most difficult part was starting the snowmobile.  I was sore in unexpected places for my lame attempts to start it.  Our dog, Dolly, decided to chase the horses.  It was a death wish.  The horses had NO patience for her and were trying to stomp her.  I made her sit and stay on the snowmobile seat while I fed.

Ran 6 Friday, 15 on the "Dreadmill" on Saturday, I'm walking 15 today on the "dreadmill" (4 miles to go).  It's my LAST back to back, long run of this running cycle!  Rocky Raccoon 100, here I come.  From here on out, mental preparation and a race plan is most important.
