Blog changes

Thanks to everyone who followed Training Because I Can! over the last nine years. This blog started with Addison's Disease, hypothyroidism and a crazy idea of doing an Ironman distance triathlon. My life has changed and so has this blog. I am using this blog strictly for Addison's Support topics from here on out. I hope to continue providing people with hints for living life well with adrenal insufficiency.

If you are wondering where I am...

Sorry not to blog or return emails. I've got clients in town at both ranches and I'm working a little more than I usually do. I'm still running as much as I need to also.

On a whim, I decided to see if I could get into a local bike race and got in. It's tomorrow and it's 50 miles. I have nothing ready (food, clothing, etc) and have to have a drop bag to the meeting by 6:30 t0night. I'm looking forward to the race tomorrow. The picture above is one downhill that's in the race, the picture doesn't do it justice. It's steep and loose. Riding it a few weeks ago and thinking about it makes me want to ride it again tomorrow, it's the whole reason I'm going to do the Pierre's Hole 50. It will be fun!! Wish me luck, I'll need it.

Back to blogging and emailing Sunday when my butt hurts (from riding!) so much that all I'll be able to do is lay on the couch.
