Blog changes

Thanks to everyone who followed Training Because I Can! over the last nine years. This blog started with Addison's Disease, hypothyroidism and a crazy idea of doing an Ironman distance triathlon. My life has changed and so has this blog. I am using this blog strictly for Addison's Support topics from here on out. I hope to continue providing people with hints for living life well with adrenal insufficiency.

Zane and a big turtle in the Everglades

Close up of the turtle, anyone know what it is?

Alligator in the Everglades

Raptor

Invasive iguana at John Pennekamp.  In Key West, we saw three, four-five foot iguanas chasing each other.  Driving out of Key West, we saw an iguana get hit by a car.  It was kind of crazy, amazing, it exploded.

Tiny little Key deer

Cute, Key West

Southern most coconut disposal

An actual Semitic Jesus! Key West

Chickens wandering all over Key West!

"Camping"

The last night "camping".  We were eaten by mosquitos and exhausted.  We went all out and bought a fan, citronella and a movie.  I folded laundry while we watched the movie.  Deeeee-lux!
I miss Zane.

(Tried to post this earlier but it didn't go through.)
I'm so glad I had the opportunity to meet Zane while he was in Florida! He's a warm, wonderful, caring person. Even though you didn't ask, your unidentified raptor is a juvenile Red-Shouldered Hawk.
