Blog changes

Thanks to everyone who followed Training Because I Can! over the last nine years. This blog started with Addison's Disease, hypothyroidism and a crazy idea of doing an Ironman distance triathlon. My life has changed and so has this blog. I am using this blog strictly for Addison's Support topics from here on out. I hope to continue providing people with hints for living life well with adrenal insufficiency.

Jackson, Wyoming & Grand Targhee

Thursday: The weather has been remarkably hot for here. It's been 85 - 90 degrees here for days. I realize this is not hot for some of you but for me, yes! I drove over to Jackson, Wyoming to swim and run. I'm not too bright because I went in the middle of the afternoon! I swam at the Jackson Recreation Center and it was a great swim. It gave me some hope for my swim leg of the triathlon. My run, however, was awful. It was incredibly hot (for me) and I kept ducking into stores to window shop. Here are some pictures from Jackson. This is the view of Jackson from the top of Teton Pass. Click the link to see the webcam.
This is Snow King Ski area in downtown Jackson.

Friday: I had a meeting up at Grand Targhee Ski area for the Teton Valley Hospital Foundation so I rode my bike up there. I learned a great deal about fund raising so watch out (or send your check to support the NADF)!
