Blog changes

Thanks to everyone who followed Training Because I Can! over the last nine years. This blog started with Addison's Disease, hypothyroidism and a crazy idea of doing an Ironman distance triathlon. My life has changed and so has this blog. I am using this blog strictly for Addison's Support topics from here on out. I hope to continue providing people with hints for living life well with adrenal insufficiency.

Day 1 - Day 2 of Vol State

Day 1 start time: 7:38 am
Day 1 finish time: 8:30 pm
Official Mileage: 41
Unofficial (getting lost): about 50
Treasures: 60 cents, cool overcast day, Stu Gleman

Everyone is amazingly, incredibly nice! I was given water by 2 people, as I passed through neighborhoods people asked me questions and said, "Good luck!"

Day 2 start time: 3:30 am
Time now 8:30 am
In McKenzie taking shelter from the rain and putting my feet up. I pepper sprayed 2 dogs and then touched my inner arm to the nozzle. Owwwwiw. Got stopped by a cop because someone told him a "young girl" was walking down the road at 4 am! I ain't young! My arm is on fire. I'm feeling pretty good. Onward to Huntingdon, TN before noon!

Nice job Dusty! We're still getting donations of support for your run. You are an inspiration. Due to your dedication, we'll be able to make a great showing in Denver and give lots of information to the EMS Personnel.

Pip, I prefer to be invisible and hate running with a light. I only use the light when I have to. :) D

Terry, I wish you were here suffering too! This is my one and only VS!
