Blog changes

Thanks to everyone who followed Training Because I Can! over the last nine years. This blog started with Addison's Disease, hypothyroidism and a crazy idea of doing an Ironman distance triathlon. My life has changed and so has this blog. I am using this blog strictly for Addison's Support topics from here on out. I hope to continue providing people with hints for living life well with adrenal insufficiency.

Day 6

Start time: 3:45 am
Finish time: 11:15 pm
Finish location: Wartrace, TN
Total mileage: 54
Cumulative mileage: 232

Treasures: fire flies, spectacular electrical storm that lasted 3 hours, Rich L telling the UltraList about the AUI fundraiser (2,000+ person mailing list), my body working, ALL THE BIRTHDAY WISHES!!! Thanks to Naresh who brought a McDonalds pie (that I couldn't eat for multiple reasons) and put a candle in it, to Carl for singing Happy Bday to me and to Rich for writing me a limerick. Thanks everyone for everything!! XXXOOO to all!!

Tough day, need to sleep. Slept some and Psyche showed up at 140 am. Her feet are hamburger. We were up for a while getting her settled. It's 6 am on Day 7 and I need to pull myself together and hit the road. I will only do 20 miles today. It will be a slow finish but it will be a finish.

Happy Birthday Dusty...Glad that you were able to have a little celebration! .You amaze me. I remember doing a hunger walk when I was in high school. I thought 10 miles was a lot...
